Bishop Ralph Garth
Bishop Garth is a former member of Mt. Canaan Full Gospel Church where he gave his life to Christ. He later became a member of Love Temple Full Gospel Church where he was ordained a minister in 1997. After spending time in ministry at Love Temple Full Gospel Church, God led Bishop Garth to start a ministry in Avondale for those who were “unchurched” and cast away in 2004. By networking with other ministries in the Birmingham area like Brookwood Baptist Church Bishop Garth was introduced to the Birmingham Baptist Association (BBA). When BBA heard Bishop Garth’s life story and the love he had for creating a “church for the unchurched” to bring others like him to Christ they informed Bishop of an abandoned church in Tarrant’s neighborhood, Inglenook, that was not being used and was up for sale for $300,000. Seeing as how God had provided a church for his vision, Bishop Garth believed by faith that God would move in a supernatural way to purchase the ministry as well. So for a 5 years Bishop Garth would drive by the abandoned church and declare by faith that the building would be called “True Vine Evangelical Outreach Ministry”- a church for the unchurched . In 2009 True Vine Evangelical Outreach Ministry became the official name and in 2014 Bishop Ralph Garth was able to have their first Easter Sunday and first service.
